Preview Mode - Disable thumbnail pictures in the image list on the left-hand panel.

Fit to View/Actual Size/Zoom In/Zoom Out - Use these options to control the view of the larger image in the center panel.

Zoom to Face - Position the viewport of the central panel to the detected face.

Zoom to Next Face - If there is more than one face in the photo, switch between them with this option.
